What a great experience! We only found out about Featherbed thanks to the locals, and we're so glad we did. The shuttle service to the Beach Bar near the Heads was smooth and well organised. My wife and I were the only two passengers on the ferry, which departed right on the hour. The crew was friendly, professional, and clearly explained how the return shuttle works. Docking was safe and well managed, and we were assisted on arrival. Being the first customers of the day at the Beach Bar felt a little awkward at first, but once seated, the service was excellent. The food was great, and the views and atmosphere made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. Highly recommended for any visitor to Knysna. NB: If it weren't for the locals, we would never have known about Featherbed --- it's definitely worth spreading the word. - Pieter
Shuttle was brilliant with very entertaining skipper. Beach bar is great and food very good and reasonably priced. Music goof but unfortunately full of adverts - not sure of it was spotify? Not a game changer but a little odd. Generally most enjoyable and we will be back soon. - Keith
