Customer Reviews

Thank you for the generous complimentary visit to the Featherbed Reserve, it really is a special place with phenomenal views and history. The guide was amazing, the skipper has a great sense of humour and we loved the restaurant set up for group visits. The restaurant set up on the departure side is also very modern and neat, with friendly staff. It is also a relief that you have a flat coastal walk (which I used) for the older/less fit/otherwise physically impaired people to make use of, this was really beautiful. The lady serving water on the island (from 6 pack packets on the counter) was very miserable and unapproachable. There was no pricelist and she was not forthcoming with prices either, she just indicated the card to swipe. Everyone else, besides her, was amazing. The bus seats are looking a bit worn. - Taryn

It was an enjoyable boat trip because you learnt about the history of Thesen Island, Leisure Isle, the Heads, the history of the lagoon and the devastating fires that happened in 2017 plus the 2 km walk back to the ferry through the forest was also good. - Rob

Absolutely stunning.. Maurice was superb with sharing his knowledge.. Soo interesting.. So beautifull.. Highly recommendable - Elonka

It was a nice pleasant walk. Guide gave us a good idea on the place. Glad that I went for this experience. - Gee

Was an awesome trip, tranquil spot and Morris was an exceptional guide. Highly recommended for nature lovers and the walk at the end was very pleasant. - Roelof
