Customer Reviews

Thank you very much for the experience at Featherbed reserve. We had a nice morning, however, it has not reached our expectations. From the website we had expected a much smaller group (i.e 10 - 20 persons), not only a bus transfer uphill (instead some 4 wheel-drive across the reserve) and a nature walk with guide and explanations (instead of some people guarding our way with minimum hints). However, your guide on the boat was entertaining and fun although the quality of the sound could be improved. The meal at your restaurant was excellent and of good quality, we loved that. - Roland

Excellent trip. Nice walk. Fantastic lunch - Bert

We had a beautiful day at featherbed nature reserve. Short boat trip through the bay, short lift by 4x4 vehicle to the top. Stunning views from the top on the Nysna heads. Then a walk through the pristine nature of the featherbed nature reserve with even a sight of a deer. Followed by a lunch that was very delicious. We enjoyed that trip and can recommend it to anyone. - Daniel

Please give my refund which you promised to me and my guide several times. But every time I ask for it I am just being ghosted, which is not fair. My guide Fazlie brought me to the office at the waterfront on the 25th of March. I wanted to board for the tour without lunch when the two ladies working there told me there was no tour that day. It turned out I made the booking for the 26th of March. Which already sounded really strange to me because both, my wife and myself, are strongly convinced, that I made the booking for the 25th. However -- it was my mistake. I know that due to the cancellation policy I wouldn't get a refund. Nevertheless I asked the ladies if I would at least get a part of it back, as it was a very unlucky mistake in the end. They offered me to rebook for the following day (including lunch). So they offered a free lunch as a compensation. I said, I'd rather get some of my money back as I was going to leave the region the following day and most likely won't have the time for the tour. They responded that wouldn't be a problem. I should simply send an email before the tour starts and tell them I couldn't join. I would get a FULL REFUND in that case. Apparently I was just naive and left the office again. Sad on the one side, that I missed out on a nice hike on the 25th, but still with a little hope, that I might be able to do it on the next day -- without the risk of losing a lot of money. Now it turned out that I didn't have enough time the following day. So I did as I was told. I sent an email to the featherbed company, letting them know I was not going to make it and asking for the refund. You responded, I didn't qualify for the refund, as my cancellation was too late. That was really a bummer. Not that I only missed out on the tour, I also payed the full price for missing it. So I asked my guide Fazlie what to do and he said I shouldn't worry, he were going to call you. So he did. On the 27th he gave the office a call and talked to one of the ladies who have been working that day when I missed the tour. So he was talking to one who actually made that promise to me. And -- I heard it with my own ears, because they were on speaker -- she again promised to give the full refund. Now I am still waiting for the refund. And every email I sent to you was being ignored. So please don't ignore this and get back to me at least. - Laurin

- Carolien
