Amazing Experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would however prefer the lunch after the walk to enjoy the deck and view for a longer time and 1 hour with lunch. - Tamryn
We really enjoyed our Eco Experience. It was well organised from start to finish - from booking, to turning up on the day etc. Our guide for the day was really engaging and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the walk and the visit to the caves. The lunch was lovely - a great selection of food. All in all, a really great morning. Thank you. - Charlotte
This was a really great way to spend half a day. A real highlight of our trip to Knysna. A nice soothing boat ride across the harbour, and some history/geography about the area. Followed by possibly the best lunch of the whole trip! An amazing buffet spread of very high quality hot/cold food + dessert, in a beautiful tree canopy-covered restaurant overlooking the water. Followed by a nice walk down the hill, looking at the vegetation, and stunning views over the epic Knysna Heads. It honestly is so much more impressive than you can imagine it will be from the shore. Highly recommend! - William
Generally, the experience was great, and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. We enjoyed the lagoon crossing. Maurice was very informative and interesting, which was great. The walk down was scenic, and the lunch was enjoyed. I think on our tour, most of the guests were foreign - I might be mistaken, but I think we were the only SA family on that particular tour. For us, we did have the following comments, (seen form an SA perspective.) 1. Clearly the tour is aimed at foreigners, and we felt it was priced as such. 2. Given the cost (over R1300 per person), we felt that odd extras could have been included - a bottle of water on arrival ahead of the walk, some local drinks at lunch. 3. We also felt that it might have been nice to have had the option of a longer walk - maybe two routes - one for more energetic folk and the current one. the walk was short - 40 mins, even stopping to take in the lovely views. Overall, we enjoyed the day and the experience. but from An SA perspective, we didnt feel that it was great value for money. I would recommend it to friends, but with a disclaimer / caveat. - MICHAEL
We loved the trip! It was lovely and interesting. The walk to the seacave was easy and through lovely terrain. The buffet lunch was the highlight, really excellent food, wide variety and declicious. - Mrs
